>6.4.09.." Random-ness"

First thing first.................

**My sweet father-in-law is feeling better! Yay! Thank you for countless support and blessings!

He's not home yet. But soon {fingers crossed! :)}

In the next few weeks ,I may be in and out..lil' out of touch!

As well, well. Maybe I didn't really explain about what is going on with us!

We are moving to Arkansas. The Mr. got a different job/position in the same company. He's sooo excited and wants to just get there and get going!

He starts back at work (in Ar,. ) on July 6th.

I'm so happy for him and proud!

I really don't care where we go in life. Just as long as we go together.

He's my best friend! I just love him!

So we have alot going on in the next few weeks!

.6.3.09.." Thank You! He's doing better! :)"

Well, I don't want to jump to conclusions...

We thought leaving him late Monday..he was doing better also.

But by the time we left yesterday{tues}, he was transferred to another floor with more wide open spaces...{yea, why do they in ICU have the px in closed, dungeon-like rooms, with NO light and all dark?}

But the doctor chalked up the behavior as like a "Confinement to ICU" of some sort? If there is a flippin' name for it...then change it!? Sounds reasonable..

Before he was transferred he was getting agitated again...then a different person once he went to a different floor. Then he could see ALL the family.

But we left on good terms and he ate a lil', and color coming back, but he's still on the road to recovery...just not a dangerous road. Do not detour Dad! Keep going..

Mom is doing good and she's in better spirits. She hasn't left Dad's side for one second. Bless her heart.
The family has been wonderful. Amazing how everyone pulls together at times like these. Family is so important.

.6.2.09.."Not out of the woods...."

So the Mr. and I left Dad yesturday thinking"Good, we are Not out of the woods yet, however he's making a recovery.." we left feeling great and drained...

This a.m. we both are getting ready for work..
Then, the call came.
He's not good.
He hallucinated this a.m. and not himself. He's the gentlest and kindest man.Would never hurt anybody or say a bad thing about anyone...

A couple phones calls ( we both were heading to work...) and back to mom's side.

What is going on?

The Mr. is trying so hard to be strong.
It's killing him to see his DAD in a bed that makes him appear so small and frail...
The times he's broke down was in utter solitude. He doesn't want anyone to see..I love you baby.

.6.1.09.."In Our Prayers"..

My Wonderful Father-in-Law is currently in ICU...we have been here since his arrival...
The Family has camped out here in the lobby since early yesterday...

The Mr. is trying so hard to be strong for his mom...
We all are trying to be strong.

I really don't know what to say at this point.
I love you Dad and I know God is watching over you.
You couldn't be in better hands.
Love you very much.

.5.31.09.."I'm Old...But had a great Time!"

My wonderful Les took The Mr. and I to one of those Japanese restaurants { ummmm for my early Birthday Dinner....boo for my birthday... I'm older.Yay.}where they cook in front of you! Yay! Second one in a month! My second time ever!

So also invited our very good friends here that I had no idea "J" had a hidden talent for catching flying shrimp....and! An appetite for tentacles! oh.my.gosh...the picture "A" took was great though!

So we had Mr. Jerry stand up and I guess he always wanted to be a cook or something..he was not so good. he broke the eggs.both of them.he was shortly released from this job.

See! Tentacles! But she seemed to like them :)

MY TREASURES :) Thank You Les and "A"! Les got me the "Shred "dvd! I kept hearing all these things about it!

Hard to believe when Les and I were her daughters age,...Her mom (pictured here) knew me...I'm old.
